One Word -- Grueling!

We competed in this race this past Saturday, the 28th. The event was overall fun and we all had a good time. The course was pretty rough, but we all came back saying we loved it!

Mouse Tail Race

The race was awesome. It had over 500 riders that competed. Team Wood-N-Wave came out with a few podium finishes, no serious injuries, and a lot of great memories!

Steve Wilson and Steve Beckett compete in the Leadville 100

They both flew out to Colorado last week in preparation to the race on the 11th. Several people went out with them in support and to sag them at points along the course. Leaville's course peaks at 12,600 feet of elevation and is over 9,000 feet at its lowest. Nearly 1000 people attempted the race but only 663 riders made the 12 hour cut off.

Steve Wilson came in at a time of 10:01:31 and Beckett a time of 12:58:30.

The Race to the Canal
October 21, 2007

We want to thank everyone for showing up and having a good time. Thanks to the Racers, Volunteers, and spectators!! We had a total of 177 racers this year! Thats nearly the highest ever.
We also want to apologize for the results malfunction. We are very sorry that happened. We know how important results are to a race. We were using a new race program, and it just didn't follow through. If you have ever used technology before, you know that it can be great, but when it doesn't work, it can mess things up. Thanks to everyone for being very understanding and patient with us. Also, thanks for helping us out in trying to get the prizes and awards out, without result sheets!
