Event Details What: 12 Hour Endurance Mountain Bike Race Where: The Canal Loop When: Saturday, September 12, 2009 Times: 9AM-9PM Awards: 10PM Mass Le Mans Start @ 9AM Race Central -- The circular parking lot that comes off the beginning of the scenic drive at the trailhead of the Canal Loop will be Race Central. It is the same area that was used last year. Headquarters will be set up there under several different tents. Late Registration will be held there Friday. Also, this is the area where all of Fridays activities will be held and where transitioning will be on Saturday during the race. The Scenic Drive will be entirely closed off to public traffic the night before and the day of. You will be allowed to camp in the areas around the Drive. Spectators: The central area where the main tents are positioned is the best place to be. You can also see them along the access road and the beginning of the scenic drive where they will be returning from a lap. Spectators are a great help to the moral of racers, so please come and support us. There will be plenty to keep you entertained!! Wood-n-Wave will be open all day the friday before and possible on Saturday. Saturday, there will be a mandatory racer meeting at 845AM for everyone racing in the event. You must attend. Riding Issues, Trail information, and racing info will be discussed. We encourage everyone to hang around after the awards ceremony. All of us will be hanging out for a while after. Grab a drink, socialize, hang out, brag a little, and have some fun! Just finishing this event will give you every right to have a little fun.
